Unimin Specialty Minerals Inc. of New Canaan, CT has announced that it will raise prices for all MINEX, IMSIL, SNOBRITE, and MINBLOC brand functional filler products effective February 1, 2015. Price increases will range from 3% to 6% depending on grade.

In a statement, the company said, “The increase is necessary to offset rising production costs, critical support and continual reinvestment.”
